All work carried out by Newbery Electricals is installed to the current version of the wiring regulations BS 7671 17th Edition.
On completion all work will be subject to a series of tests and a certificate will be issued. This may be an Electrical Installation Certificate or a Minor Works Certificate.
If necessary a Part P certificate (for most domestic electrical work) will also be issued following our notification to ELECSA.
An Electrical Installation Condition Report, which has replaced the Periodic Inspection Report is a report on the condition of an installation. This is often required by insurance companies or if you are buying or selling a property. Maybe you just want to know that your installation is safe and complies with the latest regulations. Costs can vary depending on the size of the installation and number of circuits. Please call for a quotation.
More information about Electrical Installation Condition Reporting can be found here
Other certificates that we can produce include-
- Fire alarm
- Smoke detectors
- Pat testing
- Emergency lighting
For our certification we use computer generated forms using Amtechs Fast Test software. We also use the latest test equipment from Megger which is regularly calibrated.
